Efektivitas Video Infografis dalam Pembelajaran Sistem Pencernaan Manusia di MAN 1 Sungai Penuh

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas video infografis dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati di MAN 1 Sungai Penuh. Menggunakan desain eksperimen semu dengan model Nonequivalent Control Group Design, penelitian ini melibatkan 60 siswa yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen (menggunakan video infografis) dan kelompok kontrol (menggunakan PowerPoint). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol, dengan persentase ketuntasan mencapai 92% pada kelompok eksperimen dan 52,5% pada kelompok kontrol. Uji statistik menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok, dengan nilai effect size sebesar 1,695, mengindikasikan pengaruh besar. Temuan ini mendukung bahwa video infografis adalah media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep biologi yang kompleks. Disarankan untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan sampel yang lebih besar guna memastikan generalisasi temuan dan mengeksplorasi pengaruhnya dalam konteks pembelajaran yang berbeda
