Turning Points dalam Perjalanan Identitas Profesional Konselor Indonesia: sebuah Studi Naratif

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap turning points dalam proses pembentukan identitas profesional seorang konselor senior di Indonesia. Menggunakan pendekatan naratif dengan analisis tematik melalui NVivo 12 Pro, studi ini mengidentifikasi dua kategori besar turning point, yaitu internal (kesadaran spiritual, komitmen pribadi, dan refleksi identitas) dan eksternal (pengaruh tokoh signifikan, regulasi institusional, dan penugasan formal). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa proses perkembangan identitas profesional bersifat reflektif, kontekstual, dan sarat spiritualitas. Narasi partisipan memperlihatkan bahwa profesi konseling tidak hanya dipahami sebagai karier, tetapi juga sebagai panggilan hidup yang berakar pada nilai Islam. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi desain pendidikan dan pengembangan diri konselor, wacana islamisasi konseling, serta menekankan pentingnya pendekatan naratif dalam memahami dinamika identitas profesional berbasis nilai lokal. Studi ini merekomendasikan ekosistem pengembangan identitas professional agar dikondisikan untuk terjatinya turning point secara organik dan integrasi nilai spiritual dalam kurikulum pendidikan konselor di negara mayoritas Muslim.
